Ball Screw Repair

Thomson Ball Screw repair and service is "Easy & Fast": a complete repair service.This repair service utilizes skills and experience developed over 25 years of continuous presence in the ball screw design, manufacturing and repair business. Since joining Danaher Motion in 2002, Thomson IBL has relocated to a brand new facility and has retained a core of highly skilled and experienced ball screw engineers focused on providing the best ball screw repair program on the market. Our comprehensive service includes multiple options of repair, from a simple clean and rebuild with new balls, to a reverse-engineered, brand new, completely interchangeable replacement unit.

Upon receipt, we will perform an extensive 40-point ball screw condition / action check:

• Standard Condition Check: 2 to 4 working days from receipt of ball screw

• Emergency Condition Check: 1 working day from receipt of ball screw

Service / Repair Options:

• REPAIR: Strip clean, rebuild with new ball bearings to correct condition

• RECONDITION: Repair & regrind of nut and/or shaft ball groove raceways

• REPLACEMENT: Reverse engineer and supply drop-in unit

• RETURN: Return ball screw - assembled or as component
