SmartStep (IDC)
The IDC SmartStep is a complete, packaged microstepping drive/control that provides a user friendly system as well as many compelling features and benefits. This drive incorporates the latest anti-resonance technology to maximize the torque and optimize the performance of step motors. The SmartStep drive uses IDC's IDeal™ programming language, and Application Developer software package simplifying set-up and integration.
Features
- Input voltage is 90 - 120 VAC (190 - 240 VAC for SmartStep-240) Single Phase 50/60 Hz for a broad range of power sources
- Output current range from 0 to 7.9 amps (0 to 3.0 amps for SmartStep-23 and 0 to 3.9 amps for SmartStep-240) for motors up to NEMA size 42
- User-programmable with 60K memory and up to 400 programs standard using the optional Keypad or Application Developer software
- Microstepping system resolutions of up to 36,000 steps/rev
- All system parameters and drive settings are software configurable, which means there are no switches to set.
