DC Torque Motors
The Direct Drive DC torque motor is a servo actuator which can be directly attached to the load it drives. It has a permanent magnet (PM) field and a wound armature which act together to convert electrical power to torque. Pacific Scientific offers over 40 standard PMDC SCR rated, low voltage, wash down duty and explosion proof models from 1/8 to 3 HP (93 to 2240 W). Standard motors are UL Recognized or Listed. Most standard models are also CSA Certified.
