Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) Motors

Pacific Scientific offers over 40 standard PMDC SCR rated, low voltage, wash down duty and explosion proof models from 1/8 to 3 HP (93 to 2240 W). Standard motors are UL Recognized or Listed. Most standard models are also CSA Certified.

Pacific Scientific's PMDC motors can also be custom designed for your application. We've built thousands of custom designs and can build custom motors to meet your specific application requirements.

Typical modifications include:

Application-specific speed/torque characterstics
Intermittent duty designs to maintain HP and reduce envelope size
Special driveshaft dimensions and details
Special rear shaft extension details
