AXIOM WORLDWIDE DRX9000
Spinal decompression therapy requires complete relaxation of the paraspinal muscles. Axiom Worldwide’s DRX9000 True Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression System™ is the only device in its class to utilize Danaher-Motion’s Kollmorgan series servo-amplifier / servo-motor precision control system to accomplish the task.
Patients receiving spinal decompression therapy on the DRX9000 are secured to a bed through a unique harnessing system. A tensioning strap is connected to the patient harness near the waist. A Kollmorgan servo-amplifier and servomotor control and monitor the tension applied to the patient. A treatment computer and secondary load-monitoring dynamometer complete a closed feedback loop.
The result is a system capable of delivering absolutely smooth decompression, incredible dynamic response to paraspinal muscle contraction and external variations, and radically improved patient safety. The ability to continuously monitor motor speed, direction, position, power and torque, as provided by a servo-controlled system, represents a truly innovative leap forward in patient healthcare.
INNOMEDIC Assistance System
INNOMEDIC has introduced the latest innovation in medical assisted procedures. The Innomedic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT) compatible assistance system allows interventions with image guided navigation to provide a level of precision and safety not seen in the market until now.
Designing the system was inherently challenging due to the compact work envelope of MRI and CT machines and because of the unique ways these machines produce images. Patient safety is the highest priority, and this meant giving the physician an intuitive interface to control the system and also implementing best-in-class servo components for a high level of accuracy. In addition, fault tolerance was a must for the system design.
