Frameless Direct Drive Motors
Ideal for electronic assembly applications Kollmorgen PLATINUM® DDL Ironless Motors feature low bearing friction, high acceleration of lighter loads and constant velocity even at slow speeds. Additionally, Kollmorgen PLATINUM® DDL Ironcore Motors perform well at accelerating and moving high masses, maintaining stiffness during machining or process forces and replacing mechanical transmissions.
Kollmorgen F Series Frameless Direct Drive Rotary (DDR) motors utilize a proprietary neodymium-iron magnet rotor structure and skewed armature assembly to provide excellent levels of torque/volume. The windings are encapsulated with high temperature epoxy, which provides excellent thermal properties and mechanical protection. Their high magnetic pole count design produces exceptionally low cogging for smoother low speed operation in electronic assembly applications.
